CoCare FAQs
Does CoCare replace our practice management system?
No. CoCare runs beside the systems the practice already uses — the practice management system stays the system of record. Signed notes, letters and coding flow back into it.
What happens in an emergency?
Aria states that it is an AI assistant and directs emergencies to 111. It is guidance only: it never gives a diagnosis, and it asks patients to confirm anything important with their practice team.
Who decides the triage priority?
The engine proposes a tier — Black, Red, Yellow or Green — with the red flags it found and a recommended action. A named clinician claims the case and confirms every disposition. Priority is clinical, never commercial.
Where does the clinical guidance come from?
Approved sources only: national clinical guidance, the practice formulary, coding standards and the patient’s own record. Never the open internet. Each output is logged with its source and version.
Is patient data held in New Zealand?
Yes. CoCare is designed for NZ data residency, and aligns with the Health Information Privacy Code 2020, HISO standards and Māori data sovereignty expectations.
How long does a deployment take?
Three to four weeks for a governed rollout in a single practice, including thresholds, escalation paths and safety rules set by the practice. Every configuration change is audited.
See CoCare against your own Monday morning
Bring one week of call volume. We walk the queue end to end — what books automatically, what reaches a nurse, and what the clinician sees when they open the case.
